status: end is in sight

foobar137Like Kissing Her Brother nears completion. Sort of. And the in-laws are gone.
There's about half a chapter left to write, but it's the key chapter (of course), and I need to alternate between one character having a meltdown and two others having a pleasant date. And then I need to go back and tweak a bunch of things that I've realized I did wrong, and that need to be fixed. (Characterization/history issues that I hadn't nailed down yet sufficiently. I've got a short scene in mind that I may write up and post as a 'deleted scene' - I don't think it'd fit in the story, as it would have to be a flashback, but I need to know how it plays out because it's a major cause of the current story.)
Hoping to be ready to post by this weekend, but I'm not sure yet.
