Sunday Six: Remedial Education

Each Sunday, post six sentences from a writing project — published, submitted, in progress, for your cat — whatever.
This is a Tangled story, set on Eugene and Rapunzel’s wedding night. (E-rated, although this excerpt is clean.) It’s interesting to ponder what she does - and doesn’t - know, since Mother Gothel will have kept her as ignorant as possible. But ignorance isn’t stupidity, and she’s smart enough to have discovered some things on her own…
She blushed as she came over and sat next to him at the edge of the bed. She took a deep breath, and with a determined look on her face, said, “So the qu…my mother said you’d teach me all about the mysteries of the wedding night.”
He nodded, unable to form words.
"Mother Go…the witch never told me anything, of course, and there wasn’t anything about it in my books. And whenever I asked my real parents, they got flustered and said you’d help me with it once we were married. So…what’s the deal?”
