On Thursday, post three things you love about some story. It doesn't have to be one you wrote.
Last week, we went with my post popular story by page views. This week, it's my most-favorited story. The numbers here have changed since last week, but the leader is still Stuck In The Middle With You, the Phineas-and-Isabella side of my 'snowed in' stories. This one's a personal favorite for a multitude of reasons, and I had a hard time narrowing it down to three items. But, eventually, I did:
Last week, we went with my post popular story by page views. This week, it's my most-favorited story. The numbers here have changed since last week, but the leader is still Stuck In The Middle With You, the Phineas-and-Isabella side of my 'snowed in' stories. This one's a personal favorite for a multitude of reasons, and I had a hard time narrowing it down to three items. But, eventually, I did:
- “Isabella’s eyes searched his face as if looking for an answer to a question she didn’t dare ask.” I love this line. Especially since neither of them ever asks the question - Isabella jumps in and answers it before Phineas can ask. (The question is, "Now that we're both more ready for a relationship, should we try this again?")
- I love the little hidden Thomarie reference. (I’m not quite sure if it’s pro-Thomarie or anti-Thomarie. It could reasonably be seen either way, I think.)
- I love the mothers’ reactions. I always envision both of them as wanting to see their kids together, and here they’re getting it after they thought it had been lost forever.
