A large white dog - it looked like a husky or a similar breed - was sitting next to his chair. As he warily eyed the strange dog, the screen came on, showing Major Monogram.
“Good morning, Agent P,” he said. “I see you’ve met Agent Sweetheart. She’ll be accompanying you today on your mission as part of our annual oversight report from Project Skin Horse, the government agency in charge of social services for non-human sentients.”
Perry looked at the dog, who said, “Hi!” in a gruff but oddly feminine voice.
